We have a holistic approach to the curriculum to reflect our students’ special educational academic, vocational and individual needs and to promote learning.
The National Curriculum serves as the basic framework for defining the range of educative experiences we offer at BH Education. We place strong emphasis upon the core subjects of English and Maths.
All students follow the National Curriculum in differentiated ways. High levels of staff support ensure that individual needs can be met.
We offer GCSE, Functional Skills programs. Our PHSE programme includes working with advisors on the issues of drugs, sexual education, anti-social behaviour and life skills. We also provide Career Advisors to prepare our students for life after BH Education.
We ensure that all of our year 11 and post-16 students emerge as confident, independent individuals, who are able to manage their own learning and behaviour and are equipped with the competencies, skills and strategies to take the next steps into further and higher education and the world of work.
